Handcrafted jewelry

Founded in 2020 during the pandemic, Koogoo Jewelry is a brand of handcrafted accessories made with a lot of love and delicacy in our home studio. Our main aim is to offer you unique creations that will follow you in each event of your life leaving your beautiful attires with a dazzling touch. Our brand offers jewelry in stainless steel, Freshwater-pearl, precious crystals, healing gemstones and mother of pearls.

Why the name “Koogoo” ?

My mother, my inspiration

Debating upon a brand name is sometimes a hard decision to make. Luckily, i had no such issue because i owe everything i have to my mother, my inspiration.

Koogoo is simply her full name in abbreviation.

Why handmade ?

When shopping handmade, you’re getting a product filled with love, hours of hard work and dedication, days of finding the inspiration and a part of someone’s soul.

We are so grateful to be able to share the energy of the human spirit and the sparkle of nature with you.

How it all
started ?

When i was around 9 years old, i developed a passion in making handcrafted jewelry while watching and helping my stepdad make macrame and beaded accessories.

He has guided me with so much patience throughout my childhood that I used to look forward to school holidays and weekends knowing i would get to work with him.

Months before Covid, I resigned from my position as a Tour Consultant in a renowned travel agency and was free to cultivate my passion during lockdown.

 

the foundations

I created an instagram account but was reluctant to post at start in fear of people not being interested and being judged.

But where there is great determination and enthusiasm, there is victory.

 

4th March 2020 was when i posted my first creation and gave life to Koogoo.
